László Lendvai is an Associate Professor at Széchenyi István University in Hungary. His research activities pertain to the production and characterization of property-tailored polymeric composites and blends. Of particular interest is the development of materials with bio-based components. László Lendvai has extensive experience in determining the material properties (e.g. mechanical, morphological and thermal).

László Lendvai did his PhD at the Department of Polymer Engineering of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary under the supervision of the late Professor J. Karger-Kocsis. Later, he was conducting research as a postdoctoral fellow at the Polymer Enginering Center of the University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA), at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Trento (Italy) and at the Polymer Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (Slovakia).
