Dragan Marinkovic is a full Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Unversity of Nis, Serbia, and a senior Lecturer at the Department of Structural Analysis, TU Berlin, Germany. He received his PhD in mechanical engineering from Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg, Germany, where he also worked as a research assistant.
He authored and co-authored more than 100 indexed journal and conference papers and worked on more than 25 research and industrial projects.
He has a reach experience in editing journals as he serves as an Editor-in-Chief and an Editorial Board member of several journals. He is also a reviewer for numerous renowned international journals.
His research activity covers the fields of structural analysis, development and application of FEM, virtual reality concept, composite materials, active structures, transport systems, decision-making techniques, logistics.
