Tamás Orosz is currently a software developer at MONTANA Knowledge Management LTD, Budapest, working on research and development of artificial intelligence-based projects. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where he obtained his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2018. Besides his academic career, he worked at several companies: CG Electric Systems (Power Transformer division) , High Voltage Solutions Ltd, and Robert Bosch Kft, Budapest, where he was developed and designed software for modeling and design of electrical machines.

He was a Post-Doc researcher at the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen, the Czech Republic, where he joined the core development team of an open-source robust design optimizer tool and still an active developer of the Ārtap - project.

He is an active reviewer at many journals of IET, MDPI, Periodica Polytechnica, Springer. He is a review board member at Applied Sciences and Electronics journals. He has organized a special issue in Periodica Polytechnica Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences. Moreover, he is a guest editor in MDPI's Electronics journal.

His research activity is oriented to the development of robust design optimization methods for electrical machine design. Recently, he started to design and develop a new, machine learning-based framework for natural language processing and legal text anonymization.
