Abstract

The analysis of magnetic field in an induction motor operating gap in the presence of rotor bar damages after disconnecting the motor from the supply mains is carried out using the finite elements method. The performed wavelet analysis of the stator winding electromotive force signal, calculated due to modeling, makes it possible to determine the location of the rotor broken bars. The experimental research confirming the efficiency of the offered method of rotor broken bar diagnostics based on magnetic field analysis is performed.
