Abstract

This paper presents a finite element based environment for the simulation of two dimensional electromagnetic field problems, especially electric motors. The graphical user interface, the finite element mesh generator and the computational functions are free software tools that have been developed by scientific teams from all over the world. The aim of this work is to realize a new software environment that can be used in the simulation of two dimensional problems as well as in education.
