Abstract

We first review the development of Fuzzy System Models from “Fuzzy Rule bases” proposed by Zadeh (1965, 1975) and applied by Mamdani, et al. (1981) to “Fuzzy Functions” proposed by Turksen (2007-2008) and further developed by Celikyilmaz and Turksen (2007-2009) in a variety of versions. Furthermore, we also review a comlementary development of “Fuzzy C-Regression Model”, (FCRM) proposed by Hathaway and Bezdek, (1993) and a “Combined FCM, and FCRM algorithms” proposed by Höppner and Klawonn (2003).
